SUMMARY:Don Giovanni
DESCRIPTION:Co-Opera Presents \nDon Giovanni\nSet at a sumptuous Florentine wedding\, Mozart’s powerful setting of Don Giovanni is the story of the crimes and seductions of the wealthy Don  \, the havoc he wrecks on the people around him. As his crimes and machinations slowly come to light\, the characters begin to plot and act out their revenge. With some of the greatest operatic tunes and most exciting ensembles\, this opera tells its dark tale with generous lashings of satire and comedy. The story follows his unrepentant journey from murder to his damnation in hell. Meanwhile\, a web of desire and lust weaves its way around the chaos that the Don leaves in his wake: Donna Anna wants vengeance\, Ottavio wants Anna\, Elvira wants the Don\, and the Don wants everything. It’s a tale that warns us about getting just what we want.\nCo-Opera has been touring regional and metropolitan Australia since it was established in 1991. Directed by award winning Nicholas Cannon\, this is the first production with their new Artistic Director and is conducted by Josh van Konkelenberg.  Sung in English and Italian\, and performed with a chamber orchestra. Contains adult themes and mild violence. \nWednesday 22  May 7.30pm\nTickets: \nAdults $52 // Concession $40\nDuration: 130 minutes with  interval\nBOOK NOW\n  \n

SUMMARY:100 Years of the History of Dance as told by one man in 60 minutes with an Energetic Group Finale
DESCRIPTION:Following up from his hit solo show “First Things First” which toured Australia in 2015\, dance and comic maverick Joseph Simons returns with his next solo\nadventure exploring the last century of developments in dance. \nThis one-man play follows Jacob: a schoolboy challenged with presenting a school report on the history of dance.
